Lamborghini Reventón @ The Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese

by

First up from the trip to the Lamborghini museum and factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese is the Lamborghini Reventón.  Before the photos, some info about the car:

Lamborghini Reventón

Year of production: 2007

Engine: 6,5 litres – V 12

Power: over 650 HP

Top Speed: over 340 km/h

Number of Cars built: 20

The Reventón covets an extremely limited series production featuring a distinctive mid grey/green matt colour. Its design, inspired by the F22 Raptor jet fighter, was conceived by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile in close collaboration with the Research and Development department in less than a year. The world preview took place at the Frankfurt Motor Show and the car encapsulates all the distinctive features of Lamborghini which have been brought to their maximum expression. The liquid crystal dashboard exists in two interchangeable modes; one similar to that of the console of an aeroplane which also features an instant acceleration indicator. The car has four-wheel drive transmission, automatic e.gear and is equipped with carbon-ceramic brake discs with 6 piston brake calipers. Only the finest V12 engine is mounted on the Reventón, fitted for the customer once it has been certified by the Lamborghini testing station. With respect for the tradition of this very extreme automobile, the name of the bull “Reventón”, which rose to fame after having killed the famous torero Felix Guzman, was attributed to it.
